Install configtool with SUSE 10.0

Dear all,
I'm trying to install Orocos on my laptop: i have on it SUSE release 10.0 .
To reach this aim i have first to install eCos:

1- I have downloaded and tried  your eCos precompiled version from Orcos 
download page

2- I have made the symbolic link from /usr/lib/libtcl8.4.so 
to /usr/lib/libtcl.so

3-I have tried to run ./configtool but it gives me the following error:
"/configtool: relocation error: ./configtool: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 
not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference"nti

I'd like to know how can i do to set eCos (if you have some suggestions or 
source to compile the application)
