Thanks for posting, if you want to, you can submit this as a bug report on
<https://proj.fmtc.be/orocos-bugzilla/>. 

If the 'CMake' branch progresses well, you can soon try again with cmake.

I wonder which distributions actually still ship this executable in a working 
fashion.
