Dear all, I just put the SmartSoft manual on my web page http://christian.schlegel.bei.t-online.de Since it not only contains text (in german) but also many coding examples it might be of interest even to people not familiar with german. I really appreciate any effort by Henrik to perform a synthesis in english. I will then also spend time to generate further text blocks (in english :-)) to describe in more detail the advantages and disadvantages of different implementation options of the patterns. For example there are some things "missing" in the configuration class but integrating them would have severe side effects on the requirement to have a simple external module behavior. I think talking about the detailed specification of patterns will bring up lots of those questions and will then result in a clear specification. Although I didn't use UML to describe the patterns in my documentation I would suggest to use UML now.
