Kick-off meeting minutes + mailing list administrativia...

Dear Orocos partners,

Last weekend, the "kick-off" meeting of the project took place in
Leuven, with 25 enthusiastic participants.

One of the decisions of the meeting was to create a separate mailing
list for four working groups for which sufficient critical mass seemed
to be available:
    * Kinematics and dynamics
    * Task specification and execution
    * Motion control
    * Sensor device drivers and sensor processing
Only the people that attended the meeting were subscribed. So, if you
are interested in one of these sub-groups, please subscribe at

A "leader" has been assigned to each of these sub-groups, so that we
can expect some real work beginning to be done on each of them :-)

All topics that do not belong to one of these four sub-groups should
be addressed to the general mailing list.
