Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using the player/stage available on synaptics
of ubuntu. I had some problems trying to install a  newer version. I only
could install the synaptics version.

Where do you think is the code problem? g++ points out to line 101 and
there's nothing wrong there. I followed the examples.. 
My code is just a first try with an pretty simple example. I'm just trying
to merge the readings from two lasers and provide a laser proxy which has
the right-side readings from laser1 and the left side readings from laser2. 
I'm going to attach my code to this message.

It looks like it's a code problem, not a Makefile problem.  Is there any
particular reason you're using Player 2.0?  Have you tried compiling your
plugin against a newer version of Player?
