https://github.com/playerproject/player

You can post patches to the issue tracker or fork and make pull requests,
whichever you prefer.

I have added an issue to track the boost.signals2 migration at
https://github.com/playerproject/player/issues/1.  I can work on porting
playerc++ to use the new API and get rid of the deprecation warnings.
