Best predictor for the women was Bert Steghuis, who had the top 7 in the overall list absolutely correct, and gets 34 points. 2nd were Arild Jensen and Erick Vogelzang, both in 31, then Nils Meland and Brynjar Haarbedg 30, Øyvind Erstad and Sybe van Hijum 28, Gerrit Stevens 27, Carool van Kesteren 26, Dick Pluim and Knut Egil Gundersen 25 so that the top 10 overall before the final reckoning are

2. Nils Meland 67
3. Brynjar Haarberg 62
4. Gerrit Stevens 60
5. Arild Jensen 59
Carool van Kesteren 59
Erick Vogelzang 59
8. Knut Egil Gundersen 58
Jørgen Slyk 58
Jørgen, who had the lead after the distances, lost a lot of points through predicting from the heart instead of his brain as he proclaims. Of our two traditional top predictors, Gerrit seems to be in for a chance, while Tim seems to be out of it at 54 points. We shall soon have the final resolution.
