 Tim, with all due props and respect, Bergsma is the defending World Single Distance champion on the 1500, and skated to that title in this very Gangneung Oval.  She's the world record hoider on this race.  And she laid an egg yesterday.  Takagi made her look like she was skating in quicksand on that final lap.  And the road only gets tougher in the 1000.  Bergsma has no one but herself to blame for that debacle of a race..
