Perhaps we do. Sometimes people have good days, sometimes we have bad. Great results amaze. Bad results disappoint, but there are always winners and only losers stay home and decide to not race.

Skinsuits may always play a factor, whether they seemingly restrict movement, overheat the skater, or lack the ideal aerodynamics.

Still enjoyable to watch, no matter the outcome..

I believe all the participants are enjoying being part of something greater than themselves.
