A while back I mentioned that I have the Greenleaf ASYNC for Windows RS-232
analyzer but the software version I have doesn't work in Win-00 or
XP. Some people expressed interest in having access to software like this
and I have a suggestion for something that runs in the latest Windows, is
cheap, but doesn't have all the features of Greenleaf.

It's "Protocol Analyzer" from www.haytech.com.au , it's free for 15 days
and they give you the pinout to make your own cable (about $6 for parts at
Radio Shack). I'm currently using it and it's worth much more than I paid
for it.

At $20 for registration I might actually pay them for it, much cheaper than
getting the update to my Greenleaf kit.
