A while back I mentioned that I have the Greenleaf ASYNC for Windows RS-232 analyzer but the software version I have doesn't work in Win-00 or XP. Some people expressed interest in having access to software like this and I have a suggestion for something that runs in the latest Windows, is cheap, but doesn't have all the features of Greenleaf. It's "Protocol Analyzer" from www.haytech.com.au , it's free for 15 days and they give you the pinout to make your own cable (about $6 for parts at Radio Shack). I'm currently using it and it's worth much more than I paid for it. At $20 for registration I might actually pay them for it, much cheaper than getting the update to my Greenleaf kit. ---------- Jerry Durand Durand Interstellar, Inc. 219 Oak Wood Way Los Gatos, California 95032-2523 USA tel: +1 408 356-3886 fax: +1 408 356-4659 web: www.interstellar.com pgp: 45A2 0A52 1D56 70C2 B865 9D5C 83F2 2112 04CE 2B54
