To the best of my knowledge the Del Puerto fire was nort and east of
the ranch, but the Canyon fire last weekend went right through the
area of the ranch. This fire was contained today. It burned more than
34,000 acres, had over 1000 firefighers and cost $14 Million to put

I'd say a ranch trip was in order this weekend to see what the state
of the Ranch is and to check on Chuck.
