Honda Leases FCX Fuel Cell Vehicles to New York, Delivers FCX to Chula Vist=
a.

American Honda announced the lease of two 2005 Honda FCX fuel cell vehicles=
 to the state of New York, the first state customer for Honda fuel cell tec=
hnology and the first customer for a fuel cell vehicle in the Northeastern =
U.S.  New York will lease two hydrogen-powered 2005 FCX fuel cell vehicles =
for a period of two years with delivery of the first vehicle scheduled to t=
ake place in December, followed by the second vehicle in mid-2005.  Honda a=
lso delivered an FCX fuel cell vehicle to Chula Vista, California, for leas=
e by the city for a period of two years, during which Chula Vista will oper=
ate the FCX on a regular daily basis as part of its normal operations.

Hydrogenics Receives Contract From German State for Fuel Cell Hybrid Bus.

Hydrogenics Corporation has been contracted by the Ministry for Transport E=
nergy and State Planning of the State North-Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany=
, to develop a fully operational electric hybrid 'midi-bus'.  The propulsio=
n system of the 17-foot European-manufactured bus platform will be based on=
 Hydrogenics' HyPM=AE power module technology.  Also under the terms of the=
 contract, Hydrogenics will supply full scale testing and select demonstrat=

Samsung Test Drives New Scooter.

Samsung Engineering Co. has conducted a successful test-ride of a hydrogen-=
powered motorcycle.  The scooter, the result of a project sponsored by the =
Ministry of Science and Technology and the Korea Institute of Science and T=
echnology, can run up to 140 kilometers on 6 liters of hydrogen fuel and us=
es a water-based solution of sodium borohydride, made from sodium borate, t=

NASA to Test Hydrogenics Fuel Cell Stack For Potential Uses In Space.

Hydrogenics Corporation has sold a light weight 5-kW hydrogen/oxygen Proton=
 Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell stack to the NASA Glenn Research Center,=
 which will use it in an experimental closed cycle hydrogen-oxygen regenera=
tive fuel cell.  This type of system can be used for energy storage in plac=
es where oxygen is not easily available, such as very high altitude, space =
or underwater environments.  NASA will use this stack as part of its resear=
ch program to understand how the regenerative fuel cell will operate in fut=
ure aerospace applications.

Ohio Installs Fuel Cell to Feed Power to Local Distribution System.

Caterpillar Inc., FuelCell Energy, Inc., and the city of Westerville, Ohio =
have reached an important milestone, bringing on-line one of the first util=
ity-scale fuel cell power plants in North America that will feed power to c=
onsumers from a substation.  The 250-kW Direct FuelCell=AE (DFC=AE) unit is=
 manufactured by FuelCell Energy and distributed by Caterpillar through its=
 dealer Ohio Cat. The fuel cell is located at Westerville's electric substa=
tion #2, and when fully operational it will produce enough energy to power =
approximately 180 homes in Westerville.

Marubeni Announces Siting of Direct FuelCell=AE Power Plant at Tokyo 'Super=
 Eco Town'

The Marubeni Corporation and FuelCell Energy, Inc. announced the siting of =
a 250-kilowatt Direct FuelCell=AE (DFC=AE) power plant to operate on anaero=
bic digester gas from a food recycling facility at the Tokyo "Super Eco Tow=
n" Project in Japan.  The DFC power plant will provide approximately 50 per=
cent of the facility's base load electricity requirements, and the heat wil=
l be converted to process steam for the recycling operations. Shipment is e=
xpected in the first half of calendar 2005.

Plug Power, Honda Announce Successful Operation of 2nd Generation Home Ener=
gy Station.

Honda R&D Americas and Plug Power Inc. have began successful operation of t=
he second-generation Home Energy Station (HES II) located at Plug Power's c=
orporate headquarters in Latham, New York.  HES II is the further evolution=
 of a joint development effort by Honda and Plug Power to produce a home re=
fueling unit that provides hydrogen from natural gas for vehicle refueling,=
 heat for domestic hot water use and electricity for the home.=20

Dow and GM to Build One-Megawatt Fuel Cell Installation.

Dow Chemical Company and the General Motors Corporation have launched the s=
econd phase of their joint fuel cell demonstration project and will now bui=
ld a one-megawatt fuel cell pilot plant and integrate it into Dow's Texas O=
perations facility in Freeport, Texas.  The system will be fueled with hydr=
ogen that is produced as a byproduct at the chemical plant, and will feed p=
ower into the plant's power distribution grid.=20

Fuel Cell Technologies and Siemens Westinghouse Sign MOU.

Fuel Cell Technologies Ltd. (FCT) and Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporatio=
n (SWPC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding the glob=
al supply, sales and distribution of solid oxide fuel cell systems.  The MO=
U between the companies will allow for further expansion of introductory ma=
rkets and positions the companies to form selected global business alliance=
s that can be beneficial to the deployment of solid oxide fuel cell systems=
 for a variety of residential, remote power and selected niche distributed =

Powerco and CFCL to Conduct Field Trials in New Zealand.

New Zealand's Powerco and Australian Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFCL) have=
 signed an agreement to conduct trials of fuel cell energy systems in New Z=
ealand.  CFCL's product for this trial is a fuel cell unit which converts n=
atural gas to electricity delivering both 1 kW of electricity and hot water=
 sufficient for the average home.  Powerco and CFCL have committed to two 1=
2-month New Zealand field trials for 2005, with the option to expand to fou=
r.

Hydrogenics Corporation has secured a follow-on order for 25 fuel cell HyPM=

er.  Hydrogenics expects to deliver two units in 2004 and the remainder thr=

Hydrogenics Corporation to Acquire Stuart Energy Systems Corporation


Hydrogenics Corporation and Stuart Energy Systems Corporation have entered =
into an agreement whereby Hydrogenics has agreed to make a share exchange t=
ake-over bid to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of =
Stuart Energy at an exchange ratio of 0.74 Hydrogenics shares for every one=

H2Gen Announces Marketing Relationship in Japan.

H2Gen Innovations, Inc. has entered into a commercial agreement with Itochu=

Palcan Opens Manufacturing Facility in China.
Palcan Power Systems has opened its Shanghai manufacturing facility in the =
Shanghai Tongji Nanhui Science and Technology Industrial Park.  The new fac=
