well John I can tell you that hunter-gatherer instinct is pretty much still alive in the consciousness of most people, wether they like it or not, it's what probably get them out of bed in the morning....the dormancy of this human role has come about as we became farmer, shepherd...we moved from nomad state to that of settler. We then began to domesticate animals, select wild plants to become our grain cereals, & cultivate them in order to ensure their continuance...what a shift...the beginning of COMMUNITY life (the foundation)? Man settles in one place & to ensure continuity of his food cultivates grain. Could grain still be the glue today for the sustainable beginnings of a Community Life in 2004 (non GM of course, or maybe there is a bigger picture there that we cannot see, as most of us cannot see the forest for the trees) choos William
