This is where a significant number of "boomers" and "cultural-creatives"
are.Buddhist,transactional theorist, philosopher, Ken Wilber goes into the
whys & wherefores of this in one of his books-seeing the situation as
central to one of our difficulties in accelerating our own individual &
species evolutionary processes. This is often why we leap to embrace
concensual decision making(and get "stuck") and look for non-hierarchial
communities & organizations(which are often slow & inefficient) and tend to
mistrust/undermine genuine leadership when we find it. Wilber has some
rebuttals, but not sure if you/I would like them!
