is that a rhetorical question, Ronald? by all means buy an abandoned quarry
or gravel pit or ghost town. Luckily here in raped but radiant Nova Scotia
one can find lots of disturbed nature that needs reclaiming but isn't ugly.
Almost everything has been ravaged & disturbed but had so much going for it
that it is still beautiful! Same is true in Northern Scotland, Central
France, etc.
