three columns with 0.8pre1 and pdflatex?

Hi,

using pdflatex, I can do three columns with:

\documentclass[a4paper,pdftex]{article}
\usepackage{multicol}
\begin{document}
\begin{multicols}{3}
  ...
\end{multicols}
\end{document}

How can do sth. similar using db2latex-xsl 0.8pre1 and
pdflatex?  Thanks in advance!
