On the face of it, this strikes me as an odd way to do landscape
documents -- are you sure it's necessary to do it this way (I haven't
tried it, myself)? If you /really/ need to do it this way, you can add
\usepackage{pdflscape} to one of the preamble variables (see
<http://db2latex.sf.net/find/template.generate.latex.article.preamble>).
You can configure \begin{landscape} and \end{landscape} using a custom
LaTeX mapping (see <http://db2latex.sourceforge.net/mapping.html>). If,
instead, you merely want to use the {landscape} environment around
selected parts of your document, you can add processing instructions
<http://db2latex.sourceforge.net/find/template.processing-instruction('latex')>
or customise the relevant templates (involving <xsl:apply-imports/>).
