Problems with the language

Hi,

I have the following problem.
My documentation is in english, and in my
customization-file I add the following:
  <xsl:variable name="latex.use.babel">1</xsl:variable>
  <xsl:variable name="latex.babel.language">english</xsl:variable>
  <xsl:variable name="document.xml.language">en</xsl:variable>

But if I generate pdf then the "legal notice"-text and the text of
"warning, tip, ..." are in frensh.

What do I make wrong?
