There seems to be two bugs. The Texinfo whitespace bug appears when using
XML::SAX::PurePerl, and I already know the cause, so I can fix that soon.
(It doesn't have anything to do with the operating system, or Perl version.)

The other bug is quite devastating: it seems that db2x_manxml and db2x_texixml
internal data structures are messed up(!) when using Cygwin Perl. The output
is totolly wrong. (This may be related to that Cygwin Perl (5.8)
hanging-and-gradually-chomping-up-my-system-RAM bug that I also encountered.)
Doesn't happen with ActivePerl (Perl 5.6), nor Linux (Perl 5.8)

It would have been nice if we had a testing framework that diffs output and
catch these errors...
