I just tried a couple tests using the stuff installed from my sandbox build, and I seem to be getting expected output on Cygwin. For example, I just generated a VCR.1 page using the VCR.xml source from the docbook2X home page, and I'm getting output that's identical to your VRC.1 output at http://docbook2x.sourceforge.net/screenshots/VCR.1 --Mike
