Topics in docbook

 DocBook was frustrating. Unlike DITA maps, which can create a pdf, epub, or=
 HTML target in one step, DocBook assemblies first need to be compiled into a=
 single file and then secondarily be converted to other targets.

ges directory references so that either the assembly is valid or the topics a=
re valid, but not both. Cross references to other topics and links to images=
 in topics both are effected. I like to work with DocBook files for their po=
wer and simplicity, but topic oriented authoring is far behind DITA.
