List of r. variables?

Is there a list of r. variables?  It's mentioned in the document (it  
says "described below") but I don't see a list anywhere.  Something  
like r.format is very handy, for example, and I only know about it  
because of the follower.xml example - I want to know what other  
variables I don't know about.  :)
