I was under the impression that Tamil script, Malayalam Script, Sinhala scripts were influenced by the Grantha scripts.

I've attached The picture along. You can see this Sree/Shree (ശ്രീ) in Anjaly Old Lipi font.

The reason I ask is that, in the text of pic1.JPG, all of the first
shrii letters are the same as the glyph at the top of pic2.JPG.

And both pic1 and pic2 have some text which looks similar.
The word "ஸ்ரீகண்டன்" appears in the second line of text
of pic1 and in the fifth line (third definition) of pic2.

Can you help us with a translation of the descriptions
given for these two forms of shree?
