Oracle told me that I have to have an account with them to install Java 11 on Windows 11. I tried to sign up for an account. But they want to know where I work. I'm not trying to install Java 11 on a work computer. I'm trying to install Java 11 on my home computer. What do I tell them when they ask me where I'm working? Is there a particular reason you want Oracle's Java instead of OpenJDK? OpenJDK is the same software under a different (free) license and you can get it from a lot of places, including directly from Microsoft: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/java/openjdk/download#openjdk-11 ________________________________________ Craig A.
