Xerces 1.3.1 Validating SAX Parse

Hi All

Is there a known bug that causes schemas which are referenced as part of the
SAX validating parser routine to be ignored?. If so is it also possible to
patch (or other workaround) the version 1.3.1 to remove this problem?
