Hi Andreas,

Actually two people indicated a while ago that they were working on this, but 
we haven't received any contribution yet.

Eugene Madatov (address in CC, not subscribed to this list AFAIK) 
recently told me that he had implemented footers, but I think he got busy 
with other stuff before sending his contribution. 

You might want to get in touch directly with him, maybe you can help him 
finish and/or test the footers functionality? Don't hesitate to ask more 
questions here if you have any.
