jfor: please use jfor-devel for coordination

Hello jfor developers,

I'm very happy to be able to say "jfor developers" as there have been several 
very nice contributions recently.

This message is to ask you to use jfor-devel more in coordinating our work - 
I have received several messages in private showing that several of you are 
working on similar stuff, and there has been some duplicate work already I 
think.

Here's the current status to the best of my knowledge, please correct as 
needed:

-footers:
I just integrated Andreas Lambert's solution which is the first one I 
received. I know others were working on it but Andreas was very quick to send 
his code.

-background-color: 
Boris Poudérous is working on it.

-space-before / space-after attributes: 
Boris Poudérous and also Ed Trembicki-Guy

-simple page master: specify different page and margin sizes for different 
sections: Chris Scott

-nested tables: 
Boris Poudérous

So there is quite a lot happening, but we need more coordination to avoid 
duplicate work and the resulting frustration.

I have been veeeeery busy in the last few weeks, sorry if I took too long to 
reply to your messages. C'est la vie unfortunately, but unless we can move to 
a more distributed model this might create a bottleneck some time.

My suggestion to all of you, several of whom know the jfor code very well, is 
to use the jfor-devel mailing list much more for communication and 
coordination. This will allow you to go on without me blocking progress. I'm 
going to be offline from July 17th to 29th and it would be great if the 
project could go forward during this time.

I will ask my colleague Roberto Marra, who has been working on jfor quite a 
lot in the last few weeks, to monitor jfor-devel and possibly commit code if 
significants contributions come in.
