I maintain Xmlrpc-c (XML-RPC for C/C++).  If you want help getting it
to build, you can email me off-list.

I see about 25 older versions on Sourceforge as source tarballs, so
you must be looking in the wrong place.  Also, there's a "stable"
release series whose current release (1.06.06) presumably has fewer
bugs than the "advanced" series of which Release 1.07.00 is the
current release.
