newbie needs help!!

Please note that I am fairly new to XML RPC. Actually I know very
little as yet about it. 

Ive been provided with a format of XML RPC Client request and a Server
response. Both, request and response are XML RPC files.

Request file is somewhat like this...

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<methodCall>
   <methodName>examples.getStateName</methodName>
   <params>
      <param>
         <value>
               <struct>.....</struct>
         </value>
         </param>
      </params>
   </methodCall>

Similar is the response file.


  > Now being a newbie, I dont know what to do with these files. I've
been asked to work in Java. Nothing else.

  > I've read many tutorials which use Java Clients to execute
procedures on server and then get the result. But if that is it, then
what is the use of these two XML files?
