error while loading shared libraries: libwwwxml.so.0:

Hi There,
I installed  w3c-libwww-5.4.0 first and then install xmlrpc-c-1.06.15
on my machine.

I can successfully make and install both softwares.

But when I go to xmlrpc-c-1.06.15/exmaples/ and try to run
#./xmlrpc_sample_add_client

I got the following error message: 

#./xmlrpc_sample_add_client: error while loading shared libraries:
libwwwxml.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


but if I do ls on /usr/local/lib/, i can see the library
libwwwxml.so.0  clearly:
#ls -l /usr/local/lib/libwwwxml.so.0

#lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Jul 23 12:11 /usr/local/lib/libwwwxml.so.0
-> libwwwxml.so.0.1.0



if I do ldd on xmlrpc_sample_add_client, i got the following:
#ldd xmlrpc_sample_add_client
        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0x00efd000)
        libwwwxml.so.0 => not found
        libxmltok.so.0 => not found



anybody can help me out?
