Since the names of schema components are used as file 
names, long names are invalid filenames and let xsddoc 
fail.
example:

name="aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"/>

we won't fix this. It's almost a theoretical case and to 
complicated to solve with XSLT.
