Please forgive the lousy formatting of this message, but I'm email-im=
paired at present and all that works for me is a very poor web interf=
ace.

1. Solutions to the tg127171/staff problem would be welcome.

2. The numerous warnings seem to be a feature of recent GCC versions.

3. Checking the Freetype CVS with viewCVS, it appears  that ftmodule.=
h was removed eight months ago.  At this point, the only workaround I=
 can suggest is to install Freetype 2.1.4 in /usr/local.

While I do wish I had the time to update PangoPDF to match the latest=
 Pango, that would be a very short-term solution since Owen Taylor of=
 Pango has just submitted a patch to GNOME Print that ties the two of=
 them together better than previously.  When that patch is incorporat=
ed is when PangoPDF will really need to be updated.  It may even mean=
 that PangoPDF becomes superfluous for using xmlroff with GNOME Print=
.
