The issue of identifiers and recognizing them is a very complicated one. I have another post today and more coming on that issue. Although it will take a number of posts to say it, the bottom line is that all solutions to the identifier issue are partial and context specific. I think it is possible to develop, in part by examining current "solutions," some very tentative guidelines that can be helpful. But, the "semantic" problem isn't solvable in any real sense. It can become manageable within a specific context and with a set of requirements. Hope you are having a great day!
