Hi Patrick, [...] > Did you know that PlayboyPlaymate is a top level class? Right next to > Philosopher? Who knew? I guess that's better than stating that all Playmates are philosophers? Or (maybe more worse) that all philosophers are Playmates? ;) > BTW, if you look at "Properties on PlayboyPlaymate:" > You find what you expect, bustSize, hipSize, waistSize, but also: > anthem?, boiling point?, dateOfAbandonment?, highestPosition?, > lowestPosition?, militaryBranch? (is that a preference?) mouthPlace?..., > and it just goes on. :) Well, I don't say that DBpedia's ontology is perfect. An astronaut is a person... Well, the first visitors of the outer space (I am aware of) were apes. If every visitor of the outer space is an astronaut, Gordo must be a person. What's an astronaut? An ape? What you'd infer from that? ;) If I can play guitar and Badminton, am I an instance of guitarist and Badminton player? I think "instance of"/"type of" is one of the most misused statements at all. > Because no Playmate has ever flown on a US space mission. (I think there > is a NASA FAQ on Playmates and space missions but I would not swear to > it.) :) Best regards, Lars -- Semagia <http://www.semagia.com> <http://www.topicmaps.de/mailinglist/> German Topic Maps mailing list <http://tinytim.sourceforge.net/> Open Source Topic Maps engine <http://mappa.semagia.com/> Mappa - Python Topic Maps engine
