Hi all, as you probably noticed, planet.topicmaps.org was offline most of the weekend until Monday afternoon (European time). This was the result of the transferral of ownership from the Standards Council of Canada to Steve Newcomb who did the hosting and DNS management in the last 9 years already. I want to say thank you to Steve Newcomb (from Coolheads Consulting) and Zbigniew Ignatowicz (from the Standards Council of Canada) for making this move finally happen. The reason that http://planet.topicmaps.org was unavailable for longer than a few minutes was not their but my fault. I was not clear enough about the procedure when organizing the move, resulting in a HTTP-302 redirect forwarding instead of the intended DNS CNAME forward to emnekart.bouvet.no. This is all fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I also want to thank Arnar Lundesgaard and his employer Bouvet for providing the hosting for http://planet.topicmaps.org. Regards, Benjamin PS: I received a lot of feedback for the http://www.topicmaps.org website, most came from Patrick Durusau, Lars Heuer, and Robert Cerny. I didn't manage to do any updates until now but will do some soon. -- Benjamin Bock http://www.topicmapslab.de/people/Benjamin_Bock
