Hi Benjamin,

I cannot remember, but I don't believe I introduced it. We have
Topic::getTypes() since TMAPI 1.0. The only thing which I changed in
TAMPI 2.0 was that Topic::getTypes() may return also type-instance
relationships which are modelled as association and not as property of
the Topic object (iff the Topic Maps engine is configured to handle
type-instance relationships as assocs). And even if I introduced it, I
wonder what TMAPI has to do with TMQL.

Probably it does not offer the TMDM functionality but that could be
implementation-specific (although I believe 99.99% of the Topic Maps
engines return the 'direct' types). Anyway, TMAPI has nothing in
common with TMQL.

Best regards,
Lars
