Hi there again, An off-list discussion reminded me that I may not have make my position very clear. My proposal: * Take tolog 1.2 as basis * Use the prefix definition syntax of CTM * Introduce all supported datatypes (xsd:int, xsd:date, xsd:dateTime ...) to tolog * Standardize that query language (maybe as TMQL level 0) Result: We have a reliable query language I know that tolog is verbose but we can enhance TMQL with level 1 which would introduce a path language. tolog wasn't my preferred query language, but tolog works and it is already implemented by others (not only by Ontopia but Nexxor uses tolog as well). We cannot loose 2 or 5 more years by designing a query language which consists of high hopes and thin air. I cannot identify any progress within the last 2 years and the current slides give me again that Groundhog Dog feeling. Best regards, Lars -- Semagia <http://www.semagia.com/>
