OTOH, I always wondered why people in the constraint language business choose to ignore declarative languages because of their ... declarativeness, reinvent some - more constructive (procedural) - language, then figure out that many constraints cannot easily be expressed with that and then reintroduce the declarative part through any available backdoor. I think the article should be understood as a dire warning. \rho
