I would assume it means that in this requirement only the numbers are restrict, not the specific values. But, saying this, there also could be a requirement on the content of the basename (or some other text in the TM) as well: "All topic basenames must be of the form /[\w ]+ \(\w+\)/ and must not exceed the length of 30 characters. The latter maybe, because the basename is used as title of a slide in a slide show and there is only a limited space. \rho
