Meetings rooms have been secured for all five days of the next WG3 meeting in Amsterdam. I am very grateful to Aad Kamsteeg and his contacts at Reed Elsevier for arranging for us to use the facilities at the Reed Business Information Building (located near the centre of Amsterdam) on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (April 14-16). On Saturday and Sunday (April 17-18) we will be at the RAI (the location of the XML Europe conference). IDEAlliance is sponsoring the room on the Sunday. We do not yet have a sponsor for the room on the Saturday which will cost EUR 500 + VAT. Precise details of the locations will be posted in the next few days. We hope to see as many people as possible from the start of the meeting on Wednesday. Let me remind you that the basic agenda is as follows: Wed/Thurs/Fri -- ISO 18048 Topic Maps Query Language ----------------------------------- * Review use case solutions in existing query languages * Choose a basis for TMQL * Prepare the ground for the first working draft ISO 19756 Topic Maps Constraint Language ---------------------------------------- * TMCL-Lite: Presentation and discussion * Prepare the ground for the first working draft Sat/Sun -- ISO 13250 Topic Maps -------------------- * Address National Body Comments and remaining issues in Parts 2, 3, and 4. * Use Cases and Requirements for the Reference Model (Part 5) Best wishes, Steve -- Steve Pepper <[email protected]> Chief Strategy Officer, Ontopia Convenor, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 34/WG 3 Editor, XTM (XML Topic Maps 1.0)
