Have a small not very original suggestion.
a.Every meet we can have one talk on a design principle or pattern.
b.Every meet we can have one talk on a small
concept/API/utility/practice with code snippets so that attendees can
get working with it straight away.
e.g. ant, log4j, regex in java, Preferences API, Hibernate, Assertions
c. We could even pick up one XP principle and have a discussion/
presentation ??
This way it should be easy for us to make presentations.
Later, we can get into topics that will need more preparation time (AOP,
NIO etc).
Perhaps some members have done something exciting in the last month or
so, and can share it with others informally.
Finally we need some open discussion time - we have all worked on many
different things - only an open ended discussion will be able to bring
these things out. Like our last discussion where we talked about
python/jython/twisted/various apis frameworks and tools, and hajaar
other things.
I can make a pres on one design pattern like the Factory Pattern, and
one on a design principle as a backup.
last but not the least - list admin please please note - why does this
mail come to me as one "indivisible" whole. I cannot view it in parts
and reply to just one message. I faced the same prob on ilugd and got no
answer. Yet, linux-india-programmers and linux-india-help digest mails
get split automatically. This issue makes it difficult to read a long
digest and answer to one mail.

Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft.
That will just be a completely unintentional
side effect
