Agreed... but can't just SIP (session management) be implemented separately?
& using other protocols from their existing implementations?
Something similar to oSIP library...

I think, thats possible...

Anyways, my query is how to go about implementing things from an RFC.
Obviously, reading it is one important task, but what else do we have
to take care of? What programming style shall we follow... build &
fix/ prototyping/ etc.

Anyone on this list tried something similar (not on SIP, but on any
other protocol) ?
ie, starting from the RFC & building up the things.
