so chaitanya...I hope you have read the rfc 3261, which is the SIP
RFC...maybe some later versions have come out i have actually worked
on this 2 years back and that time this was the latest...
chosing JAVA or GTK is a matter of personel preference.. personally I
feel more comfy with GTK as with that you can have a C/C++
interface...and you may have to integrate some of the freely availabe
stuff to get your phone working..which usually is in c/c++
So tell me do you want to write the stack or only the front end GUI
for the phone
i hope you are aware that it will involve some speech codec libraries as we=
ll.
I am sure you do not want too write everything from scratch..let me
know of what exactly you wannto do and I may be i can help you
