I should know this, as I was one of the people at the first meeting. I
even remember the room in QUB where we held it. But the date escapes me.
The earliest evidence I can find from the mailing list is dated November
1999, so it was definitely before that, but not by very much.

Danny Walker was the one responsible for dragging our backsides into
that room. He disappeared off the radar a few years later, and I've no
idea where he went. A few of the other originals still lurk though...
