[LIG] Request for pointers: How to build a local LUG?

Hi all

Am looking to setup a local LUG here in Amritsar. I personally use
Fedora and Whitebox Linux (planning to shift to CentOS) and want to
explore other releases.  I am looking for pointers on how to do it and
what exactly is required in terms of resources. I have a DSL connection
that runs 24 hours, though I cannot provide a meeting place. Am willing
to provide CDs to local enthusiasts free, though don't know anyone in
Amritsar who uses Linux. Request pointers to resources on the web on how
to do this well, in addition to poiters from various people who
initiated the local LUG in their area.
