 I appreciate your interest, but what you have pointed
is the performance issue. I am well versed with these,
but the problem with java is interface designing.
Making gui with swing takes a lot of development time,
and when you are thinking of a application which is
expected to have arround 280 forms, Ui designing time
does makes a diference. Also, the pointer given by you
talks about mathametical functions only, whereas
things do get slow down when using jav/swing
apps.(coorect me if i am wrong)
