wxWindows demo crashed often in my slackware box .. and well u can
search clp archives for that *most*. But if you're satisfied u can go
with wx. Just my thoughts .. I don't get used to any particular toolkit
just bcoz any famous personality has recommended it (wxpython) but I
used to evaluate all -- even programmed a bit in wx, but found GTK+ API
great.

Not sure whether u have tried PythonCard -- it's good. But I feel using
glade for UI and libglade to connect that with my GTK (python)code is
lot more quicker and easier option ever. If not already seen, see the
source code of pythondevelop (in toolbox.gwidget.GWidget and other
derived classes)
http://pythondevelop.sourceforge.net

GTK+ is the best when your app. is targeted to UNIX machines .. but not
certainly when Windows is included in that. Agreed.
