<rant> I _hate_ openoffice. I hate the lack of consistency in the thing. On my machine, I've got a document horsed into some sort of coherent mess that's legible enough for use should I print it and give it out to everyone. On another machine, a diagram in the doc decided it wanted to make itself appear on the next page. On yet another machine, that diagram decided it had better things to do and departed entirely. I know you all hate Microsoft and their proprietary this that and the other... but dammit.... I'll give anything (well, not really, but you get the idea) for an office suite that actually works properly and consistently across three different computers!!! Theoretically, the doc I just printed has gone out to the printer... going to go check now. Hopefully, the diagram is where I want it and not on the title page and the doc didn't emerge in Columbia.
