RE: New TV Tuner cards ??

Please let us know of your setup as well as problems and challenges you
encounter. This is also something I am interested in but I want to see
what packages are supported under Linux. I currently have a Philips PVR
and we have issues with it. From time to time we have to unplug it and
replug it. Sounds like Windows to me all over. As I currently have
problems with this PVR and it is very hard to transfer anything out of
this box otherwise than burning it on a DVD, I am looking at something
that will let me take my recordings from TV on a portable player.

I don't need the dual input. I had looked and the PVR-250, which is
probably my best bet. But, I little techno-lust prompted the Hauppage
WinTV-HVR-1800 question.

The techno-lust spread to this when I read your suggestion and looked at
the site. But on second (rational) thought, it really is more than I
need.

PVR-250 it is then.
