Apple keyboard under Ubuntu

I just purchased two Apple keyboards, after trying them out in a store
in Ottawa. I had some free time, and wanted to really test the feeling
of those keys, and I like them very much. 

However, I found some differences. First, there is an "Eject" key on the
keyboard, which does not exist on reguar keyboard. Well, it works great
! The little logos on the F1, F2, F10, F11 and F12 are actually
performing exactly what they are labeled for. I was pleasantly surprised
to discover that. 

The "clear" key acts exactly as NumLock. There is no insert key, which I
sometime find frustrating, but I can live with that. It is replaced by
the "fn" key, which seems to be plain dead.

I'm looking for a couple of things: 

- Is there an Ubuntu applet that I can add to display the actual status
of the keys such as Caps and Num ? Caps has a light on the key, but the
"clear" key clearly has no indicator. 
- The fn key occupies the same position as the usual insert key, but
does not seem to perform the same function. How can I remap it to
perform that function ? 
- The wireless keyboard is using BlueTooth. The controller that I got
for it is the RocketFish one, this tiny USB connector. I had problems
making it working consistently. Any link for that ? 

Anybody had past experience with Apple Keyboards under Linux ?
